According to the latest report from the Ministry of Health, Vietnam's vaccination rate has significantly increased over the past year, with impressive statistics showing that over 95% of children have completed their scheduled vaccinations for diseases such as measles, mumps, and rubella.
To achieve this milestone, the government has implemented a series of innovative outreach programs, including mobile vaccination units that travel to remote villages and public awareness campaigns utilizing social media and community health workers. The Ministry has also partnered with international organizations like UNICEF and the World Health Organization to secure vaccine supplies and training for healthcare providers.
Looking ahead, the Ministry plans to introduce new vaccines and expand vaccination programs to include adults, particularly for influenza and hepatitis B. These efforts are crucial in the fight against preventable diseases and will help to strengthen the overall health of the population, thereby reducing healthcare costs in the long term.
